Portal

Procedure

  1. Log into the Admin UI of the Core Module and add the UI Configuration parameter PORTAL_CALL_RECORDING with a value of yes; by navigating to System > Settings > Advanced > UI Config.
  2.  Now when a call is active you'll see a recording icon in the active call widget.

Midcall DTMF

Procedure

  1. Log into the Admin UI of the Core Module and navigate to System > Settings Advanced > Properties and add the System Property parameter TalkingMinEscapeKeyLen with a value greater than 0 but less than or equal to the length of your feature code; for example, for a feature code of *98 the value would be 3.
  2. In the Core Module navigate to Connections >Legal Intercept and ensure there is a(n):
    1. connection to the Recording Module and;
    2. LIC entry with case ID and device AOR titled recording.
  3. Also in the Core Module navigate Dial Planning > Dial Translations and add the dial translations shown below to dial translation Cloud PBX Features,  Default, or the specific Domain Dial Translation as desired.
  4. Based on the example above the mechanics are that the destination will capture midcall DMTF. Please note that the Destination MUST begin with an actual star since the Core Module looks for * as the leading character of midcall DTMF.
  5. The Application is Event and the Application Parameter is set to record_start and record_stop. It is important the user translation is <OwnUser> and host translation is <OwnDomain>.
