How to Reset Polycom Phones to the Factory Default

Step - by - Step instructions to reset a Polycom phone to the factory default

• Plug in phone.
• Select "Cancel" when you see "Starting Application" on the screen.
• While it is counting down, press and hold down number keys, 1, 3 & 5 at the same time until "Enter Password" pops up.
• Enter the serial number of the phone (Serial number is located on the bottom of the phone, usually on a white label and begins with 0004F or 6416). Use the 2 softkey (1->Aa) to switch between numbers and letters. All letters should be lowercase (a->1A)
• When the correct password is entered, it will say: "resetting configuration, please wait."
